Glad to hear things are going well.

Unfortunately, it's looking like carpal tunnel might be in my future, too.

:) Hope things are going well with you, too!

I just watched the surgery for Carpal Tunnel yesterday, it's nasty, and you're awake and sitting up for the whole thing. I type 128 WPM, I've had it for close to ten years, but it hasn't been bugging me much till I just got back online...I need to get one of those ergonomic keyboards again, I loved my old one.

I've seen some of those 'ergonomic' keyboards.

Uhh...no.

One I saw looked like something out of Babylon 5. It was broken in half and almost 2 keyboards, separated somewhere between the U and the I. Sure, you're not supposed to have to look at the keys to type, but positioning is everything. A lot of times, I know I've hit the wrong key, because my hands just don't feel like they're in the right position, or that my finger has hit the right key. Having your arms moved even slightly out of position like that seems like you're going to have to go back to school to learn how to type again.

Since getting back into PC gaming, my wrists have really started to hurt, and I'm seriously not looking forwared to any invasive procedures, of any type, for any reason. If I go back to the Army and get shot, unless there's a serious need to remove the bullet (if it doesn't pass through me), leave it the Hell alone.

I hear that.

I used to have one of those keyboards before, and I loved it. I think I'm the only one in the universe who likes those. Must be why I'm having trouble finding a new one. hahaha.

Yeah, the surgery looks bad and I've heard that once you've had it, you've got a great chance of needing it again. So I'm not going to let anyone jam a stick in my carpal tunnels either!
