I think I can help you out. ;-) I am a DJ and I've been doing weddings and such for about 3 years now. Since its short notice and all... I'd be willing to work with you on the price. Especially since you're a friend of Carmens. I specialize in 80s, club style music and modern hits (billboard Top 10). Don't get me wrong... I have all the wedding usuals, I just happen to have a lot of extras. Give me a call and we can work something out.
sorry, TY got to me first! are you the one he's borrowing the equipment from? I think he's going to need the amp, speakers and a mike, too! These people don't know what equipment they have (the restaurant people, that is), and I don't want to take chances...
