In the year 2005 I resolve to:

Eat at least 2 pigeons a week.

Natalie is now walking by holding onto the couch. She's the best! Also she dances, it's hilarious!

My brother was home for christmas. I guess he did well at boot camp, now he's gone back to get his MP training, which ends I think March 11. This was the first time I saw him since he left in October and it's weird. He carries himself more calmly, more straight up. I kept poking his stomach, which hurt my finger. He looked really nice in his dress uniform (I last saw him as he was getting ready to go back to Missouri), I've never seen shoes so shiny! Wow, I'm so proud of him, but it still isn't totally hitting me that he's a soldier. I guess he got 2 medals so far, one for sharp shooting and the other for being able to blow stuff up with grenades. I think it's pretty cool but he's not too impressed. He was eager to get back and learn more.

His wife is really weird. My mom asked her if she was sad that he was leaving again, and she snapped out, "NO!" How crazy. I hear she's on some new medication (she's nutso) and it's making her snappy and sleepy all the time. I don't think this is the right medication for her. She sure doesn't need to be MORE bitchy. I'm still kind of creeped out about her being my sister in law anyway. This is my brother's 2nd wife. She and I met in 8th grade. We sat next to each other in Algebra, and I think we both failed it. About 2 months into the school year she informed me that she wanted to be popular and that since I was not, she would no longer be my friend. I busted out laughing, then I figured out that she was serious. We weren't friends again till 10th grade when she sat next to me in biology. We were so close! We used to write these wacky poems together, we called them lengthened limericks. They were these silly things that we'd write back and forth instead of biology (I got a B in that class, though, so no major thing). She pulled some more crap right after 12th grade, and the next time we talked was my 25th birthday (2002) when she was dating my brother. Very freaky for me. "You enjoy stabbing me in the back for many years, now you're my sister?" ARRRGH!

Anyway, have to put Natalie down for her nap. She's finally done being sick, I just have to hope that those jerks don't bring in Mackenzie or Ian at work, who keep getting Natalie sick over and over. One of these times I'm going to aim her butt at those parents when they give her diarrhea and let it splatter them. I'm tired of it. But it's been about 5 days since she had it, so I can only hope.

I kicked Brian's ass some more at Skip-Bo last night, he's not a very good loser sometimes, haha. I made like 16 pancakes with eggnog and vanilla in them. Don't know what possessed me to put egg nog in the batter, but it was really good, surprisingly. Yum!
