Bones to pick with the world I guess..Cuz I CAN!

Here's my new thing for the new year:

*Allison* warning you that there's swearing in here, I don't know what the minor protocal is for this, :) Uh Rated R?

*note* this isn't directed at anyone in specific, nothing in particular set this off, so if you think it's aimed at you, well that's your insecurity & who says we can't learn about ourselves from others, right?

I'm tired of backing down about my feelings & opinions because it may offend other people. If I wanna say that someone is a white-trash-soul-sucking-useless-jerry-springer-piece-o-republican-trailor-park-beer-swillin-monster-truck-watching-shitfuck, too bad if it offends you! By your telling me I'm violating someones right to be who they are, you're violating my right to freedom of speech. Tolerance is just that--TOLERATING something about someone that is different from you. It doesn't mean I have to like your lifestyle or support it in any way, it just means that I have to deal with your lifestyle existing. & not slander you on tv or something. I'm allowed to have a negative opinion (or positive of course), about anyone or anything I choose & fuck you if it bothers you. Because you know you're forming equally strong opinions about things that piss you off, just like me. If you choose to be PC about everything to the point where the whole world is gray then fine. I'm equally allowed to choose to have the belief that most of you assholes on this planet are a bunch of oxygen wasting fuckmunchers who are part of the reason everyone's lives suck! I'm allowed to hate you. I'm allowed to love you. I don't have to give you the benefit of the doubt. I don't have to feel sorry for you because you're way too old to still be a loser, no matter what your excuses are. I'm sick of people saying, "you have no right to make that blanket statement, you have no right to that opinion...etc." WHO FUCKING DIED AND MADE YOU THE KEEPER OF ALL PROPER FEELINGS!?
Everyone has their opinions, everyone hates something or thinks some people are weirdos. That's ok! It's not ok to burn crosses on someones lawn, or not let gays into the military, or not let girls into the boyscouts (well, cuz they do better camping trips, foo!), or not let men be flight attendants/nurses. People should still be allowed to be who they are, but we shouldn't force everyone else to like or become it. Why should I say to the redneck who doesn't like my tattoos, "You're a bad person because you hate my tattoos?" No! As long as he's not kicking my ass for it he can say whatever the hell he wants! I can say in return, "I don't like your cheese ball stained wife beater." When I got all of my tattoos, I absolutely knew they would most definitely offend a large portion of society. I chose to do it anyway. Society doesn't have to change because I have what they consider to be 'evil' tattoos. Most people think upside down crosses are evil & mostly so do I. I'm not above reproach & if I didn't want people to think/say I'm weird I would never have gotten my septum/tongue pierced, the tattoos, wear almost exclusively black for over 15 years (when I'd get grounded as a kid, I'd be 'grounded from black'). DUH! I lived a FRINGE lifestyle! Of course people looked at me funny! If I wanted everyone to love me I would've been like a sweater tied around my neck preppy person. But using my own logic, I had as much of a right to look weird as the others had a right to think I was weird. Do you think I ever expected my 80 year old grandma to say, "Wow! How do I learn to dye my hair plaid! I wanna be a goth, too!" Part of the reason I did it was to be different! If everyone looked like that (Enter Hot Topic), I'd have found some other way to be different.

Life's tough, get a helmet.
