Church went well. Patrick mostly behaved. Not sure if it was a fluke or if the very specific threat I told him before we left was effective. I'm working on getting Vivi to stand next to me and sit on her own (seeing as in less than two months both my lap and arms will be otherwise occupied). As for the crib thing, not sure what to say. Marie has learned how to climb out of her regular crib, but we just keep putting her back. It might be a good idea to focus on the portacrib, as she will just learn to climb out of the crib anyways.

You are lucky in the sense that Johanna is still small enough to physically hold on your lap (whether she wants to be or not) or otherwise be kept in one place. But there is still the problem of no cry room (at least I think I remember you saying that). It gets much harder (not to mention possibly dangerous) once they get to the late 3's and 4's.
I am wishing I had started sooner with Patrick. Part of the reason the other parents irritate me so much is that I used to be them. And I know what is going to happen.

I don't know how we would live without a cry room. You are a braver soul than I am (either that or your church is really wonderful)
And yes I can see Johanna saying that. She reminds me a lot of Patrick at her age (just more verbal). Maybe Robert will be like Vivi - they already spit up the same way :)
