Malachy spent the weekend with Justin, and I picked him up Sunday. We went back to my step dad's to have dinner for Father's Day. My almost 10 year old neice was there. Lately she hasn't really been coming around too much lately. She is being raised by her other grandparents, and they are far more religous than we are. She seemed to have fun playing with Malachy though. He got to show her his new birthday preseents and had a little housewarming party.
Afterward we were all supposed to go to my dad's, you know for Father's Day. My neice decided that, after my dad, who hasn't seen her since Christmas, planned everything, she decided she didn't want to go. Which in my oppinion is just as well, since she acts like a brat more often than not lately.
See how happy we look. Well, at least I look happy. I'm not going to say my dad is deeper than he is, but I do think that my neice's disapearing act upset him a little. It seems the only times she comes around are when she's expecting to get something.
