This weekend there were record highs in the area. 99 on Saturday and 101 on Sunday.
Saturday wasn't so bad. My mom and I went shopping at some strore she knew of that was going out of business. Her car doesn't have air conditioning, so we took mine. when we got back, Malachy played around in his new kiddie pool, doing belly flops mostly. I have pictures, but I forgot my camera at home today.
Sunday my mom wanted to go to Garden Ridge, so once again, we took my car. After we were done, we stopped at Sonic. while we were there, she turned the car off to go to the bathroom, and when she got back, it wouldn't start. The battery was dead, so we had to sit and wait for my step-dad to come jump it off. It took about and hour, so he got there around 5. My new car has a thermomater that tells how hot it is outside, and at 5 in the afternoon, it was 100.
