After talking to the nurses and calling home to inform Sephiroth of the schedule, Angeal was finally ready to take the younger Sephiroth home. He wheeled a wheelchair into the teen's room, stopping beside the bed and offering an arm for Sephiroth to lean on. "They'll let you out of here, now. We can go home."

He notes the tone, wondering why he was so curious about Cloud, then wondering what to tell him. "He is... determined, stronger than he thinks. He is still recovering from many wounds, as we all are." He gives Sephiroth a sad little smile.

Seph frowns slightly, finishes the last of the biscuit and sets the glass aside, flopping down onto his back. "...Tell me about what he's like," he insists, not knowing how else to say it, hoping Angeal will be able to figure out what he means.

He blinks. "He... allows his friends a lot more slack than most people would. He gives his enemies none. He is kind, but wary, and he expects too much of himself. But his fearlessness and determination make him a fine leader, at times."

Seph's lips twist slightly in a frustrated frown, but he doesn't say anything else, gesturing for Angeal to go on. Maybe he'll figure out what he wants to hear if Angeal just keeps describing.

"Do you want some of his history? Why so curious about Cloud?" He grins, giving Sephiroth an inquiring look.

"...Anything. Just keep talking." He's just pretending that second question was never asked.

He puts a hand on Sephiroth's arm, concerned. "Are you all right? If you'd like me to continue talking, I will..."

"I'm fine." He shrugs the hand off a little irritably and gets more comfortable, inwardly puzzled at his own curiosity.

"I can't answer you, if I don't know your question." He sounds vaguely amused.

"I-I told you, anything. Just - just talk." He feels his face heating slightly and tries to look away before Angeal sees.

"He was an enemy of your alternate's for a long time, but Cloud finally trusts Seph again and they've recently become friends." The blush was odd, but this Sephiroth reacted in odd ways, sometimes. Whatever was bothering him, Angeal thought, he'd soon know. Sephiroth had never been a stellar liar. Any Seph.

"...Do you think he'd trust me?" The question slips out before Seph can stop it, and he turns even redder. "I mean - it's - when you and everyone came - the look in his eyes, it was--" He struggles to put the right word to it, finally weakly coming up with, "I think it was sympathetic."

He nods. "He's more likely to true you, than your alternate. Even then, I would not expect it, right away. You'll have to earn his trust. Though I don't think he'll make it hard for you." That blush catches his attention. Hmmm.

Again, he speaks before he can think. "How do I do that?"

...Way to go. How stupid, he thinks bitterly - now he feels really idiotic, having revealed just how socially inept he is.

He pats Sephiroth on the back. "Just be yourself. Be kind to him. Show him that he can trust you. The way you earn anyone's trust."

"But I - I've never had to." He's ashamed to admit it, from the look on his face, but he's let enough slip he figures he might as well let the rest of it out. "I...want to, but I don't...know how."
