prayer blanket
I finally finished this prayer blanket, had it blessed on December 12, 2010 and delivered it on December 15, 2010.
It continually amazes me just how grateful and appreciative recipients are when they receive their shawls/blankets. While "creating" the shawls/blankets, I have thoughts like "this is nothing compared to what they are going through", "they will think this is stupid", and the negative lines go on and on and on in my pea-brain; then I stop and focus my prayer. God always pulls me through. And, hopefully, these little bits of care, concern and prayer bring comfort to those who receive the shawls/blankets.
