Started a prayer blanket back on June 26. I haven't had a printer since May when a friend of mine did something to my computer which made it "give up" the driver for the printer. Friends...Gotta love 'em. So, I thought instead of carrying the pattern book with me on our trip, I would write the directions on an index card. This next confession will just solidify the fact that I'm a ditz! I messed up when I copied row 17 and of course, it wasn't coming out correctly. Therefore, I lost 3 days on the blanket. THEN, when we returned from our trip, both my husband and I immediately got sick with the 48 hour (mine lasted 4 days with yuckies for 7...)BUG! There went another week. I did get the blanket started on July 7 and it is 15 sets on its way (I know what I mean by 'sets', so don't sweat it). I found out today that the gentleman I am knitting it for did get a confirmed diagnosis of lung cancer from his recent PET scan. He will see the oncologist on July 20. Shortly, I will post a picture of the blanket's progress.
