Giants for the Win!!
Wow, I am just terrible at posting in my LiveJournal. Every time I say I am going to, I don't.
Well I just couldn't help posting tonight. I really wanted a way to express my joy that my Giants have finally won another Super Bowl. It's only taken 17 years... and I watched and cheered for them then too.
Most of the friends in my life right now are likely to not even know how much I love the Giants. They were a very important part of my life in the past and I have never stopped being a fan.
Like many things in life they have taken a back burner to what has been my main focus the past few years. Convetions (Bakuretsu Con and those that I vend at) and Allura. I also blame the internet for sucking up a portion of my time these days leaving little time for other things.
This game was too important to miss and I am glad I made sure to watch it. Oddly enough it was the first game I had seen all season and the first one I had seen in even longer than that. As I watched the game tonight I almost felt like I was back in those days when I never missed a game and I lived from Sunday to Sunday. I realized it was a good thing that I stay away from Football these days. Its too hard to drift in and out, I either have to watch EVERY game or just stay away.
I decided well before the game was over tonight that it looks like next season my Sunday schedule is going to be full.
Way to go Giants! Let's have another great season in the year to come, I will be watching all the way. :)
