her name was Jane. She was 15. And because of a stupid, senseless act she is no longer here.
http://www.torontosun.com/News/TorontoAndGTA/2005/12/29/1371893-sun.htmlShane and I were there on Monday. Others on my FL were also. It's a major place in town. Lots of shopping. Tons of people.
There is no reason.
There is only sorrow.
A beautiful light is no longer shining on this plane.
I hope she didn't feel it. I hope the last thought she had was a love of her family and the joy of the previous day.
And I hope they find the ones who in their senseless little pea brains thought that firing a gun into a crowd would be cool. The sad thing is in crimes like this, chances are they are close to her age.
Which means other lives lost.
Yesterday as I started my day I watched undercover police arrest a man at the top of the TTC. I didn't see at first they were police and I hurried to look for a police car. Yeah, crime affects us. Even if we weren't there, we know. I still look up at the sky when I hear a loud plane. It's my newer second nature.
So maybe tonight you'll hug your family tighter. Tell your friends you love them. Pray for peace.
I love you.
