(no subject)
Our show ended yesterday. We did the children's show, the BFG (the Big Friendly Giant). It was cool. I like doing kids shows. The little children turn around and start waving at us in the booth. (i was doing the light board, btw). It's the most recognition technicians will get ever. (since the glory is usually reserved for the actors). I realized though that small children make me rather uncomfortable. I never know what to do or say to them. Most little kids are not dumb, they know what they want, and they know how to get it.
Regardless, I really really like dong kids shows. It's less hectic and stressful. Wait, what am i saying? We put this show together in less than 2 weeks. Hell yea we freakin suck toes!!
In other news, I was all psyched up for a night on the town with one of my buddies last night, but at the last minute he called and cancelled. It is going to be a very stressful couple of months. I have two jobs- one is for the school, calling people and askign them for money. The other is at a vet's office working as a groomer.
Bad news is i may not be able to go home for thanksgiving. But that's okay. What-ever happens, it'll work out in the end.
I have a monologue to memorize by tomorrow. That and i have to find a 15 minute scene for directing class. That may prove to be a bit harder.
Its cloudy, and it may rain.
