as completely uninteresting as this to everyone, i have pleased myself today. i found a wonderful radio station in dublin to listen to and i wrote them an email asking them just how indie they were, and i requested some casket lottery and some elliott, just for starters. in two minutes flat, the dj responded, which, in america, takes what? three days? i was quite impressed. sadly, she thought i was talking about elliot smith, and played that. so i sent back a link to elliott's website and, again, in another two minutes, she was on air again, this time correcting her mistake and saying that she hadn't heard of elliott, and that by next week (her next show) she'd make sure she had. and she told me to continue to email her with ideas for her show.

i heard new belle and sebastian today on their show. it is quite good. i am pleased with myself. that made me feel good. but yeah, who cares?
