I can't believe you had so much patience, I devoured all the 4 episodes at once!
It was so hard not to! It was mixture of RL craziness and me never wanting the RA love affair to end, so for a good week instead of watching the last episode, all I did was rewatch my favourite scenes from the first three XD.

OMG, I KNOW. I WAS TOTALLY THROWING THINGS AT COMPUTER SCREEN AT THIS POINT AND SHOUTING "OMG YES TURN AROUND YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO HE WILL FORGIVE YOU ANYTHING HE LOVES YOU THAT MUCH"
YES HE WILL FORGIVE ANYTHING YOU DO BUT IT IS STILL BEST IF YOU COULD TELL HIM ABOUT FREDERICK. I honestly never expected that she wouldn't; with every second that passed, I still fully thought that any moment now, she'd turn around. BUT SHE DIDN'T.

Yeah, this was so sad, poor Mr. Bell.
Poor, poor Mr. Bell :(. Though I was in a very WHAAAAT state of mind when he admitted he had feelings for her. XD

these are such a brilliant two people, class differences should not prevent them from being friends :D
Yeah! I loved how Higgins was like, "YOU HAVE TO EAT, MASTER." and Thornton would be reply, "HAVEN'T THE TIME. I'VE GOT TO KEEP WORKING SO ~YOU~ CAN KEEP WORKING." But then he'd get dragged into the mess hall anyways XD.

Oh, yeah, the whole series is so beautiful in colouring
Oh I knooow - it had me breathless from episode 1, with all the cotton flying in the air at the mills and Helstone. *sigh* But this last scene was seriously gorgeous.

Plus he has an open collar, mmmmm
*falls into a dead faint* ♥ ♥ ♥

OF COURSE SHE'S COMING HOME WITH YOU, YOU SILLY GORGEOUS MAN
OF COURSE OF COURSE OF COOOURSE. Oh, oh, ooooh. They're utter perfection, right till the very end. ♥

GUH. THAT LITTLE SNIPPET IN THE END, WHEN SHE ADMIRES THE LANDSCAPE AND HE ADMIRES HER AND THEY ARE ALL CUDDLY AND CLOSE ♥
I love how they brought it back to the beginning, contrasting when Margaret was first coming to Milton and now when she does with Mr. Thornton - the differences in light and colouring and the general state of happiness and aaaaaaah. XD

YAY PERFECT. I was looking for a N&S icon ♥.

Mwahahahaha, I sometimes have this things with books I really like, I would read them unstoppably till only about 20-30 pages are left and then I would spend months without finishing them XD

BUT IT IS STILL BEST IF YOU COULD TELL HIM ABOUT FREDERICK.
OMG YES I WAS SO ANNOYED WITH THIS, I LOVE YOU, MARGARET, BUT COULD YOU PLEASE BE LESS DENSE AND TRUST JOHN, IT'S NOT LIKE HE'S EVER GOING TO BETRAY YOU.

Though I was in a very WHAAAAT state of mind when he admitted he had feelings for her.
Mwah, that was a WTF moment for me,too, plus, you know I really don't like Grandpa/Young girl romances XDDD

Oh, yes ♥

Look, there's more, and lots from THAT SCENE - http://queen-lothiriel.livejournal.com/12566.html#cutid1

Heeeee, SAME! Or I'll reread a paragraph or a sentence over and over again, so it takes me ages to finish a book when it really shouldn't have taken all that long XD.

Or when Mr. Bell was so, so close to telling Mr. Thornton about Fredrick. AAAAH, the suspense!

Mwah, that was a WTF moment for me,too, plus, you know I really don't like Grandpa/Young girl romances
I just thought it was really out of the blue and strange, as I loved the father-daughter sort of dynamic they had. Though, looking back on it now, I can see some hints that his feelings were a bit more than fatherly. But anyways, poor, poor Mr. Bell ;__;.

Oh, yeah, damn stupid literature classes at 10-11 grades, I can't read without analysing the prose now, I would look for a hidden meaning and hints and such XDD

AAAAH, the suspense!
Yeah, BBC loves it :/

Yeah, me,too. You know, I don't think he was all that in love with her, he just thought "Well, I'm old, I need someone to take care of me, I might as well get married. Well, I guess Margaret would be a good candidate", at least this is how I saw his line of thinking, especially when he was talking about how he never get married because he was always busy with Oxford and such.

Btw, do you still have episodes of Secret Diary to catch up? I just wanted to know your opinion, you know where to look for mine ;)

Ooo, I'm actually not caught up at all :/. I think I've watched episode 1 - 2, but I haven't had the time to finish the rest. Which sounds mildly ridiculous, since the episodes are so short, but I like to catch up on a series all in one sitting XD.

When I do though, I'll be sure to go over to your journal and read up on what you think! ♥

Well, first two episodes were sitting on my computer for, like, two weeks before I caught up (eps 3-4 were already out) so I know how it goes, plus, I was just so reluctant to get into S3 since everyone was squeeing/or whining about Duncan and I was wary about him, I don't want to spoil it to you (unless you want spoilers, lol) so I won't say anything else.

Perhaps it;s a good idea, you won't get as involved as you get when you have time to think and speculate between episodes XD

When I do though, I'll be sure to go over to your journal and read up on what you think! ♥
Ok ♥ And be sure to make your own reaction post, too, if need arises ;)

Btw, how is it going with you and "The Forgotten Garden"? 'cause, frankly, I put it down for Mary Stewart, lol, whose "This Rough Magic" I already finished and started another one (I think I'll make a post about the recent endevours of a bookshopagolic (aka me) or just include that in a proper update entry ;))

Also, since it's already 8th for me, HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY, BB, TODAY WE CELEBRATE JUST THE SHEER FACT THAT WE ARE FEMALE AND THEREFORE ARE AWESOME ♥ ILU, Debbie-Debs ♥

I dunno about Duncan. He really good looking to be sure, but Belle/Hannah doesn't exactly have the greatest track record when it comes to men :/.

Definitely! Also, the nice thing about SDoaCG is that because it's so short, there really isn't time to get too invested. XD

Btw, how is it going with you and "The Forgotten Garden"?
Yeah, I put it down too! I wasn't a big fan of the writing, nor how the plot was going :/. So instead I'm currently rereading Mansfield Park XD. Jane will never let us down!

OH, PLEASE DO! I love hearing about what books people have been buying, since I can't afford to do the same :(. There are so many books out that I want to buy, except I'm dirt poor at the moment XD. The second I get my next paycheck, I'm going to the nearest secondhand bookstore and spending it all there!

OMG, I had no idea there was a Women's Day!!! BUT YES, IT MAKES SENSE THAT THERE WOULD BE A DAY IN WHICH WE CAN CELEBRATE HOW AMAZING IT IS TO BE FEMALE ♥. ILU TOOOO, KATYA DARLING! ♥ ♥

wish I could tell you this time it was different but alas, at least we can say writers are saving the place for DT ;D

Nah, British series are usually that way that you get invested after one-two episodes (especially when they are one-hour long but even the short ones grip you instantly) You see how invested I got into that Material Girl and I wasn't going to, I just thought it was safe and turned out it wasn't :/

I wasn't a big fan of the writing, nor how the plot was going
Well, I didn't have problems with writing because I was reading it in Russian, lol, so maybe the translators got rid of the imperfections of the author but I found that it's hard to stay interested in the plot when it's constantly jumping from one year to another...

Jane will never let us down!

That is for sure, even though I actually never reread MP because it's not my favourite but I did P&P, Emma and NA(that was the 2007 adaptation's fault, I was so swayed by that version of Henry Tilney I rediscovered the book for myself because I didn't like it that much after first time and I know why I didn't, it's just I read it right after P&P and I surely was looking for something similar (as it always happens when I like something, I want more of it) and that was my mistake, when I read NA just for NA and for parody that it is, OMG I LOVED IT SO MUCH, it became my third favourite instead of being the sixth.

I love hearing about what books people have been buying, since I can't afford to do the same
Aww, bb, well, I've been spending all my pocket money (and now my scholarship) on books since I was 12 but in last 1,5 years I was reading so much fanfic I read almost zero books and lost interest in anything that has no semblance of Doctor and Rose in it but recently that interest resurfaced so I've started buying books again XD

There are so many books out that I want to buy, except I'm dirt poor at the moment
I have another problem, there're so many book I want to buy but there are NOT HERE. Damn, can you imagine, there's no North&South translated (or even brought in original) and it was written 1,5 centuries ago :/ Plus, I've been really wanting to read Dorothy Sayers because her Lord Peter Wimsey and Harriet Wayne come up on my flist and I'm already hooked and I can't find it here, too *grumbles* The same goes with ALL the DVDs I want to have :/ RUSSIA WHY ARE YOU SO RETARDED, STOP BYING HOLLYWOOD MOVIES AND TRANSLATING SMEYER, I WANT ME SO CLASSIC BRITISH LITERATURE.

I'm going to the nearest secondhand bookstore and spending it all there!
I must say I love new books more, because I like the smell of fresh paper and ink ♥

OMG, I had no idea there was a Women's Day!!!
I wrote about it in my journal 2 weeks ago, when we had sort of men's day and long weekend because of it and now it's the same only it's a women's day. Plus, it's actually called "The International Women's Day" but it's only big in here and former Soviet Republics + some Latin America regimes. Well, and feminists now about it too, as it turned out XD

BUT YES, IT MAKES SENSE THAT THERE WOULD BE A DAY IN WHICH WE CAN CELEBRATE HOW AMAZING IT IS TO BE FEMALE
OH, TOTALLY, WE ALSO GET PRESENTS AND FLOWERS THAT DAY FROM ALL MEN OF THE FAMILY OF FRIENDS :D
