the nicest thing
ah, spring break finally. after my 2 weeks of absolute midterm hell, i'm finally home.
stayed the night in nova on friday. outback. 154 cup beer pong. i think it was only the second time ever where i slept in my day clothes, haha. it's never good to wake up face down on the sofa and a little bit confused. quite an eventful night/day. sigh.
since then, i've just been chillin at home, catching up on all the sleep i've lost. rented some movies to watch later - across the universe and dans paris. i've developed this obsession with all things french. i dont know where it came from. loving the french movies, music, actors. just good stuff.
talked to my sister today for the first time in a long time. we've just been busy, her with the new baby (janina, who is absolutely adorable) and me with school. but yeah the phone conversation was pretty cute, cause sophia got herself involved.
me: "hi."
sister: "hi"
>> sophia to my sister: is that tante jenny?
>> sister to sophia: "yes, do you want to talk to her?"
>> sophia: "no. but that is tante jenny?"
>> sister: "yeah, come talk to her."
>> sophia: "no."
>> sister: "come."
>> sophia: "NOOOO."
yeah it sounds cuter when its in german and you hear a cute little 3 year old speaking... but anyway. when i visited last summer, i brought her a strawberry shortcake dolly and it came with a little cat toy. sophia brings it to her pre-school and tells everyone "my tante jenny got this for me. it's from AMERICA."
i miss my little monster. so so so much. can't wait to get on a plane and find myself in little urmitz again.
visiting twin in boston from thurs-sat. so very excited. it sucks that our spring breaks don't coincide with each other, but now that i have a car and a tomtom, i can go anywhere!
