I wish everyone on labeled their bit torrent files with the video format.
I had an utterly great Christmas yesterday! It was one of the most fun times I have had on that holiday. I went to visit my friend Re and xir roommates. In the afternoon, we all sat around reading, cuddling, and eating delicious Polish pastries. Later that night, we went out with one of xir roomies family for chinese food. We went to this really nice place that had some wonderful food. It was very tasty and I did not feel out of place in a crowd full of people I barely knew.
I am good friends with Re and have met xir roomies a few times before, but never talked to them much, and have never met the one roomies' parents or sister. but even so, my usual anxiety around new people was not present. I spoke to the sister about music and the parents about all manner of things like art and music and city life in Baltimore. It was enjoyable, happy conversation and to top it off, te parents paid for everyone, so got a totally unexpected and welcome Christmas gift!
After dinner, Re and I and the roomies had a dance party in the living room listening to 90's pop music. We then watched some Eddie Izzard. Such a glorious night. Food, fun, affection, comfort, love. I wish all my christmases were like this. It was so good that I didn't even think about the asshole and his bullshit calendar.
In other news, I am trying to decide which email addresses to use for what. I have multiple email addresses, and multiple online accounts spread across them. I want to condense those accounts so that all the shopping sites have the same address, all the bill pay sites have the same address, etc. Just need to figure out who is going where. Boring work even for a person like me who likes to organize things.
