I better not be ill.
I have a headache and my sinuses feel swollen... I'm just praying to whoever will listen that I'm not getting sick, cos I can't take time off this week or next. I think my boss has first dibs on that, considering her husband's in hospital.
So.
I've spent all day trying to download stuff, only to find the downloaded file's A/V is annoyingly out of sync, and fluffing around with trying to find vid editors that will fix the problem, and paying money for software I'm probably okay without having paid for (tho it will be useful anyway) only to find a program that downloads the file properly to start with, so now I have to download it ALL AGAIN. ARGH! All this just so I can burn it to a DVD and have the pleasure of having a hard copy in case the internet explodes. I am NOT downloading it all again now. Not when I have new Supersizers to watch! *glee!*
I'm really only posting because I haven't in ages.
Em's moved into her new flat, which is rather exciting. It's not too far from my place either, which is handy and I can visit her without the aid of a vehicle. She came over for tea last night. Pleasant! CJ's gone tramping with a couple of friends, which is nice for her to get out of town. I don't envy her tho. Walking around the bush in the middle of winter? Do me a favour!
I was watching some Little Mermaid on Broadway on Youtube yesterday, and oh maaaan what would I give if I could live outta these waters to see that show live... but it's coming to the end of its run at the end of August! =( Maybe it'll do a tour to Aus in a couple of years and I can take a trip to Melbourne or Sydney and see it. Here's hoping anyway!
