Flooding, Brad out of Town, I don't feel good.
A lot is done around the house, thanks in part to my mom who came down to help me some today. I am so sore though, Brad is out of town, he left early this morning to go to Tunica with some guy friends and have a "Weekend away". THis is our first night away from each other since we got married almost 2 years ago lol. Just as soon as he gets out of town the flood gates open of course, most of the roads around here are shut down and not passable at all.
After my mom left earlier I organized my cabinets downstairs and cleaned out the food pantry (one of two)... I've been doing laundry all day, and I can see a light at the end of the laundry basket LOL.
I am supposed to have a baby shower tomorrow with Brad's family but I'm not sure that will happen with all these roads shut down, but we will see.
I hope I can get some much needed sleep tonight.
My feet are SO horribly swollen.. my mom refers to them as Pinning Edema (sp?) Stage 3. Its where I can press down on my foot with my finger, and it stays indented like that for several minutes. They are so swollen the skin on my toes is actually cracking, it hurts sooo bad! :( I've been trying to keep them up as much as possible but its hard)
I think I may have to snuggle up on the couch tonight and watch New Moon... after I get the kids to bed of course.
