 Okay I know I have been bugging everyone for months about this puppy. Raina is finally here.  She is everything I knew she would be and I love her already. After two nights of no sleep, (the night before I got her and the night I brought her home), and one day of barely any food - they don't have food in the cargo area of the airport, I finally

She is beautiful. YAY. I am so very glad you got her. I am glad Pyrate likes her too. That was important. He looks very content next to her. I am so happy for you.

Pyrate wasn't sure at first. He just thought she was visiting. Now that she has been her awhile he is started to try to teach her things. He moves her away from the door if she jumps on it by putting his body in the way. He taught her to use his drinking fountain already too. Now, she is his puppy. I am just loving the interaction between them.

it sounds as if Pyrate loves her already. I am so glad they bonded so quickly. Sometimes it takes a long time for 2 dogs to form an attachment. He's already acting like that then just think how protective and loving he'll be of Raina later.

The only problem with Pyrate loving her is that she has a permanent slobber spot on the back of her head. He keep licking her head and leaving slobber all over it. With that long hair around her ears, it gets curly when he slobbers on her. They are so cute together!
