She draws them pictures. Pictures of things she should not--cannot--know.
Planets she’s never been to before, never heard of, gone long before her birth--destroyed by wars and stupidity and time itself. Planets there are no records or memories of, not anymore.
But that’s only the beginning.
There are pictures of races, completely obliterated for centuries, and creatures, extinct for even longer than that. Majestic mountains now crumbled to dust and oceans, once the span of whole planets, evaporated into nothing. Insects surviving only as fossils, preserved in stone and ice, and moons, stars, whole galaxies whose fates ended in the cold, empty embrace of a black hole.
These are things no child should be able to conceive of, much less draw in such detail, down to the exact hue of a blade of grass on a now dead planet. But she’s no normal child. She’s the daughter of two impossible people living in a world they were not born to.
The Time Lord and the Bad Wolf.
And though she seems human enough for now, one day she’ll change and become something so much more than what she is. So much more than even what her parents are or were.
She’ll become something new. Something the universe has never seen before.
