my update

Ok things have been up and things have been down around here.

We got our mortgage on our house, which was sweet. Got a little extra money with it. I bought Chad a truck for father’s day, its pretty cool. He got my blazer fixed, but I had to get rid of the van. So I gave it to a friend of mine. It felt good to be able to do that. I had Sammie for the summer. I got ballzy and took off with the kids on my own and went up north camping, Chad met us 2 days later. We spent a week on the beach front campground on Lake Huron. We out on jet-ski, I even drove one. We came home for the night and I took off with the kids again, went to the other side of the state. Spent a day at Michigan Adventure Park. We stayed the night in Muskegon then drove to meet Sanity for the first time. She’s an awesome person, I am so glad I got to meet her, I really enjoyed it. Ashley and Sanity hit it right off and it was cool. We only stayed for a short while then drove back home. A few weeks later Nan and Ray came up and help me take the van to where it should have been. That was a trip. We all stayed at Sanity's house, OMFG was that fun. Ashley decided she didn’t want to come home and with a bit of luck her dad greed to allow her to stay there for a few more days while I came home with Sammie, the following day I took Sammie to the airport to return back to FL.
On the down side of the wonderful time I had been having. Ashley’s ferret had a stroke, she hung on and tried real hard but she passed away in allies arms Tuesday at 3pm. Ashley was not home at the time as she had stayed at a friends house that night and had been in a very bad storm. She came home with bruises all over her body. That day we bought Ashley two new ferrets, they are young only 9 months old. And not trained at all. She named them Pyro and coon. Chad isn’t all that fond of them. Yesterday Ashley had another appointment with the heart doctor. This was unexpected. So we went, I really didn’t think it would be a big deal as we had not heard anything from them since she had her EKG for her sports physical. Ashley had to have one because she was born with a heart murmur. Well turns out the murmur is from a valve that is supposed to shut after we are born, but hers did not. Ashley is an athlete, she has asthma, and she also is bi-polar. She is on lots of meds and we have had a hard road. She’s 15 years old and has been sick a lot, seem many doctors. She is my light. My life, one of 3 reasons I wake every morning and go on. Her heart did not shut the valve even in a small amount, if it had, she would have been able to just have her murmur monitored. The EKG they did in the office showed stress on her heart, it also showed some other rather disturbing information. And with all the information laid in front of us, the doctor informed us, Ashley will need surgery. They must go in and repair and close the valve. The doctor is hoping to be able to do angioplasty (?), where they just go in threw her groan (?) and get to her heart that way using a fine tool and do laser or what not to close it. This way they will not have to open her chest and scare her beautiful body. But if they find anything else while this is going on they have informed me they will do open heart surgery right there. I'm trying very hard to be positive. I have to keep her stress down.
So If I'm not around you all know why. She is amazing, she’s so strong. And I'm right now searching for a way to have even a small amount of the strength she has.
