A few things
1. A dinner conversation:
Masa: "Do you know what day your birthday is?"
Ethan: "No."
Masa: "It's October 12."
Ethan: "Always?"
Masa: "Yes."
Ethan: "Every year?"
Masa: "Yes."
Ethan: *suspicious glance at Masa* "I don't really think that's right."
2. An entirely different QOTD. Ethan called me back into his bedroom after I'd tucked him in and kissed him goodnight. His arms were stretched out wide as I entered the room, and he said, "I have a hug inside me and it's for you. It's been inside me since you left, and I've been saving it for you." (Not a very bad life I have, is it?)
3. Because I am gearing up for my Mommy Of The Year campaign, this evening I managed to convince Ethan that his toy dinosaurs are actually real, by moving them around when he wasn't looking. Is it wrong that I derive so much pleasure from toying with his little hyperactive head?
4. It has been brought to my attention that I devote much more LJ space to Prince Ethan than to Emergency Spare Backup Prince Gabriel. For that, I truly apologize. I will endeavor to catch you up on All Things Gabe in a post to be written shortly, perhaps tomorrow.
