After two different trips to the airport, the cancellation of every flight into the Northeast corridor, a brief but serious romance with the idea of driving through a blizzard, the naive optimism of placing myself on standby (#81 in the queue), and two hours standing at baggage claim 3 waiting for my luggage, I am sorry to say that I've been forced to admit defeat: this weekend's trip to Boston has been canceled. Postponed, really - I plan to make another attempt soon, maybe in a couple of weeks.

I am terribly sorry to all those inconvenienced or disappointed. Please know I tried everything I could.
