What a glorious morning!
God is so awesome! It stormed really bad last night & so when we woke up it was fairly dark. I was laying in bed with Leah & Meagan & I started to pray out loud. I prayed for God's protection over all of us, over our family, to be with Alyssa & Sami while they are away from us, etc. I then said Thank-you God & the BRIGHTEST beam of light came into the room (the sun had peeked out through the clouds). Meagan's eyes got huge & she said "WHOA!!!!!" I said, " God is telling us Thank-you for praying this morning!" Her eyes remained wide open & had a HUGE smile on her face. That look of awe. It was an awesome moment. I LOVE moments like that! :o) I feel like God was telling us Thank-you for thinking of him before doing anything else! It was nice to see that after such a bad storm last night. One particular thunder caused me & Shane to literally jump up out of bed! LOL It is nice to see this after such a storm!
I just have to add this... my friend posted this in her journal & this fits with what happened to us this morning!

Call unto me, & I will answer thee.... so maybe he truly did send the beam of sunlight???? HMMMMM
