I watched the Grammy Awards show on and off last evening. I had to document this morning the feeling of goosebumps on the scalp I felt during one of the performances (only one, others were moving and well done.....but.)
Joss Stone and Melissa Etheridge. Miss Stone (17!) sang Cry Baby and Melissa Etheridge did Piece of My Heart. It was her first performance/appearance since announcing she had breast cancer and she appeared with her completely bald head and, well, together the three of them, Melissa, Joss, and Janis, gave me goosebumps on my scalp! I recommend this state of being! I hope they release their renditions of these songs! It was a beautiful thing, indeed.
