A Better Day
Well, the Lord has truly blessed me with a better day than yesterday! Of course, getting up before 9 a.m. seems to make quite a big difference, but there are just some mornings that are hard to get up before that time. It really all depends on what time I can get to sleep at night and how often the baby wakes up throughout the night too.
The girls finished school quickly this morning. I think Sara and Micaela were done by 11:00-11:30 a.m. Caitlyn was a little slower, but she did some extra work. We have a busy day tomorrow (Dr's. appt., lunch at a friends house), so I doubt we will be able to get much done along the lines of schoolwork. We got the overall house tidied up, and with Caitlyn's help, we also got the floors mopped. Have done 2 loads of laundry. I folded the baby's clothes and put them away and also did the towels. The older 3 girls took care of the their folding and putting away. When you have this many people in the house you have to delegate a few things and folding/putting away laundry is one of those things. I also cleaned off Timothy's dresser and finally threw out the flowers that were sent to us about a month ago! His room is starting to get organized a bit better now. Still have a little bit of work to do on it.
Micaela informed me today that for her birthday dinner, she wants lasagna, garlic bread, and salad. This will work out really well, because I can also double up on the lasagna and make a pan to take to church on Sunday. Have to cook for it anyways, so I'll just do it altogether.
Well, I probably won't be back online until Monday (May 13th). I rarely get online over the weekends and I have quite a bit to do on Saturday. Buy groceries and b-day present for my 3rd daughter, make a cake, cook dinner for Sunday and for our supper, etc. Oh well, I'm sure everyone gets the idea.
