Long busy week!
This week has been one of the most crazy I have had here at this job yet. I have been here for 4 years. My job is evolving and growing. I am not complaining, but it is certainly keeping me on my toes mentally. Physically I am turning into a germ-o-phobic trying to dodge the sick crap that goes around here. I hate touching door knobs, anything in bathrooms, papers, phones, knobs on the copiers, etc....It will be a miracle if I do not get whatever it is.
Yesterday we had our '04 taxes done. Yeah, we are slackers that way. We never get returns back so what the heck I say.
I lost 5 lbs this week. Only a million to go.
I went on-line and looked at what seemed like a million sites for wedding Mom's stuff. Clothes etc. I swear, most of the Mom's they have portrayed on those sites look like Blue Hairs...not that I am against Blue Hairs, but I am not one yet. It is hard to find Mom's clothes that are made for beach weddings, ya know the casual kind, not suits etc. Any ideas??
And.....on a really good note....Brook Got A Job here at the school!! She is our first ever Lady Groundskeeper! I would love that job. This place is soooo awesome. I am going to go out and get her some cool gardening tools and a pouch and a cool straw hat. A nice thing about working our grounds (We sit on 150 acres, of course not all of that is kept up. A large section is considered Wildlands by the State.) and being part of our facilities is that our staff loves them and has great respect for what they do. I think she is going to be very happy. And the lucky dog gets to wear jeans every day! I am proud of her! :)
