Sun and cloudless blue skies...and a power cut!
How come we get this in winter and not summer??!! Woke up to a beautiful morning, cloudless skies so very cold and frosty....and discovered no power...consquently no heating and worse no shower and morning coffee!!! .....which I normally have logging onto my PC!
Fortunately I did have some hot water so managed a wash although I couldnt wash my hair as I always do...and neither could I style it....
We take instant power so much for granted don't we ....seems quite a large area was without powere this morning (I managed to listen to the radio in the car - going to work much earlier than normal so I could get coffee and breakfast!) Around 38,000 homes in the Abingdon, Didcot and Wantage area, of which I was one.
It would happen when we're back to winter after a very mild spell!
