Lunch time at the Cherry Tree
Isn't BookCrossing wonderful! I had no plans at all for today and was just going to spend it sorting yet more stuff out!
However, yesterday I had an email from new BCer GingerBoy who lives fairly near to me, asking me if I was sure about the box of books I'd offered him in response to his post on BCUK (you can tell he's new to BCUK! lol). I assured him I was and agreed to meet him and his wife at the Cherry Tree OBCZ.
I announced this on the forums....and persuaded
akg to join us! What a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours...it got me out of the house, made me register yet another box of books which I was able to hand over to GingerBoy who was delighted, and
akg introduced him to the famous BookCrossing hugs!
I don't think we put them off....time will tell! lol
