(no subject)
today me and mol woke up at 7 and went to her house and baked cookies and made frosting. its amazing how much you can get accomplished when you wake up early. we dyed her hair and i think it looks absolutely beautiful. i got sicker at molly's so i was kind of a downer, i'm sorry mol. but she took good care of me with medicine and good tasting cough drops. and regardless of the fact that i could barely walk we did get a lot done today... safeway, starbucks, goodwill, zia, and sally's beauty supply store all before 1 o'clock. that must be a record or something. Tonight i was watching the news because i had nothing to do and if i didn't know any better, i would think that the end of the world was coming. the news makes our world seem like such a horrible and dangerous place to live. with the hurricane and the hostage situation in russia, its just scary that so much harm can come to you and there's nothing you can do about it. we can't control nature, and as much as we would like to, we can't control chechen rebels either. it scares me what our world has come to, and i'm realizing that there just isn't enough good in it.
