- went to Homecoming, pigged out at the Alumni House, went to an Around-the-World, and witnessed a shoving match that totally would have turned into a brawl if Security hadn't shown up, dangit... Oh yeah, Onstar was up for the weekend, and Cheesy came to see us! Also, Kyrie was here for a wedding that weekend, but I wasn't involved with that, so nyeh. :-P
- went to another Around-the-World the next weekend, but found when I got there that the person who had invited me had decided to go out to a bar instead... so screw you, man, I got some people to come back here and play Gamecube all night, w00t!
- took off three days last week, as well as two days this week, under the ostensible purpose of "looking for a job," "cleaning up the apartment," and "working on that adventure query for Paizo." None of these goals has been accomplished, and tomorrow is my last day off.
- bought "The Light of Things Hoped For" on eBay. I've been meaning to pick it up for quite some time. It is SO awesome to have a "new" bS2 CD. "Like an overdue sunrise... It all comes back to me..." I must have listened to it all the way through at least six times when I...
- went to New Jersey to visit EMSkodia. It was great to see her! But next time, I'll have to plan better. I can't believe I was that close to Red Bank and didn't think to go to Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash! Or that close to Northlands, either, for that matter.
Also next time, I won't spend an hour looking for the only non-toll bridge back into Pennsylvania, only to give up and go to a bank to withdraw money (at a fee), and then find out that the toll was a matter of spare change that I could have paid out of the loose coins in my cupholder.
Oh, and also next time, I won't get pulled over for speeding and get a $160.00 fine because I really had to pee and was trying to get to the next exit. Thank you, Mr. Policeman, for taking as long as humanly possible to write the damn ticket, and stopping to adjust your stupid-ass hat before bringing it back to me.
I still say he pulled me over because I was white and he was black. :-P
