Hi everyone,
Just had a rather relaxing weekend in Cambridge with Yvonne & Matt.
On Friday I had a lazy day, did some laundry and watched some movies on Matt & Yvonne's projector.
Saturday we made an effort to do some sightseeing - which was King's College and its Chapel, and the main part of town, but that's pretty much all there is to see in Cambridge anyway, so it didn't take long. In the afternoon we went to the cinema to see 'Inception' which was very good. Sunday we went for a short walk near Cambridge in what was mostly farmer's fields but it also went close by a telescope array. In amongst all this was plenty of sleep, movies, and games to keep us amused.
I'm now on the train to Edinburgh (yep, internet on a train!), but had a 2 hour stop in Peterborough earlier. There I occupied my time by visiting the Cathedral, then having lunch at a restaurant recommended by Matt & Yvonne. Considering the train station had no luggage lockers, I bought a bike lock and chained my bag to a bike rack to avoid having to cart it around everywhere. This proved to be ill-advised as I received a phone call from the local police who thought it was a bit suspicious. Luckily I was mere metres away in the restaurant and so I walked over and chatted to them and sorted it all out. Good thing they didn't haul it away without calling me first. So that's just a tiny bit of excitement :)
