I'm Back?
Hello!
I haven't posted in a long time, so I figured I would now.
So Harry Potter?
AMAZING.
Wowowowowowowowowoowwwww!
I don't know about anyone else, but I loved it SO much!
It was probably the first book in the series that didn't somehow get spoiled for me. I'm pretty notorious for reading ahead, or asking what happened, but this time I promised that I would just read it and not go online or talk to people about it until I finished. I'm really glad I did. I was great to really feel nervous and anxious and genuinely excited about the book because I know it will never be the same when I read it again.
Did anyone else cry? I just about broke down when Harry found out that he was the final horcrux and had to die for Voldemort to die. I was completely 100% convinced that Harry was not a horcrux, and that he was going to live. It took me by complete suprise and I was in tears reading about him seeing Ginny for the last time, and not being able to talk to Ron or Hermoine. I'm so glad he told Neville about the snake though. SOO SWEET. I'm really glad Harry didn't really die though.
Geez Dumbledore was mentioned so much, it felt like he wasn't even dead! I'm really glad that I was right in thinking that Snape was actaully good. I liked the part with the Pensive showing the scenes with Snape and Dumbledore, and how good Snape actually was. It was heartbreaking to know that he couldn't show his true self to anyone because of his role. How sad was it that his final request was for Harry to look at him, so he could see Lily's eyes?
I'm so glad Ron and Hermoine FINALLY got together. I laughed when Hermione droppped all of the stuff she was carrying to kiss him. Sweet.
I knew one of the Weaslys was going to die, but I figured it would be Mr. Weasly. I was really sad about killing one the twins. And Tonks and Lupin? So sad :o(
ahh there's too much to say.... maybe more later??
So Mary and I are doing a concert at Deering on August 10th at 8pm! you should all come :o)
