WDW Vacation, Pt. 2.b
Just got back from the Magic Kingdom. We managed to catch the light parade, although we had to look over people's heads, and the fireworks. It did get some good fireworks pictures. I took them with the sports mode on my camera. We also rode the Haunted Mansion.
We got to the park around 6pm and people were already lining up for the parade which was at 7pm. I hoped to ride a couple of rides beforehand, but the lines were too long for me. There are so many people down here. Of course, it's a holiday weekend. And there's a college cheerleading/dance competition going on this weekend. We will be going back to the MK tomorrow so we'll get a better chance to ride things. I am also going to extra magic hours tomorrow night so the lines should be shorter then. That's from 11pm until 2am, but I won't be there that long.
While waiting for the parade we ate at the Columbia Harbour House. I had fish and chicken nuggets with fries. My mom had a tuna sandwich.
Right now I'm enjoying a Orange Dream. It's Malibu rum, Monin Candied Orange flavoring, and ice cream (or an ice cream mix). It's good, but not the best drink I've ever had. I saw some other drinks on the menu that I'll have to try later.
I'm going to go to bed soon. I tried to sleep last night, but I didn't get much rest. Hopefully it will be better tonight.
