The last 3 days
Here's a brief summary of the past 3 days.
Wednesday: I talked to laiksmarei for a few minutes as I was getting ready to go to work. It wasn't too bad at work.
Thursday: I had a night from you know where. OMG! It didn't start out bad, but at about 11pm it all went haywire. A direct admit and then just a little while later an admit from the ER. It wasn't much better for the other nurses either. They were getting admits too.
Friday: Last night was sooo much better! The best night of all 3. No admits for me! I got through with my paperwork on time. I think that our hospital census is starting to drop now that it's getting closer to Christmas.
Just a little while ago our mail came and in it was my HPB Secret Santa gift. I got a University of Alabama flag. It's one of those kind that you can put on a flag pole outside your house. Sweet!
I'm off today and tomorrow from the hospital. With any luck I won't have to work at Disney Store today. Fingers are crossed!
