I Won!
Tonight at the cast meeting I won a Mickey picture frame for answering the most questions correctly in a Disney history quiz. We had to chose the date that certain Disney events took place (like when WDW opened, when Snow White premeired, when Walt was born,etc...). I got 11 out of 15 right. In the poster contest Dana (our former store manager) won. She had made a nice picture and I had voted for her. Even people who hadn't made a poster got up and said what Disney meant to them. Bonni almost brought me to tears with what she said about wanting to get the "magic" back.
I went by Barnes & Noble before I headed to the mall. I bought a Wicked calendar that has pictures of various actors/actresses portraying roles in the musical. What's really cool is that it also includes Sept, Oct, Nov, and Dec of this year. I've already hung it on my door. I also got both the Elphaba and the Glinda journals, a spiral notebook, a totebag, and two Wizard of Oz bookmarks. I spent way too much, but you just can't walk into any store and find Wicked merchandise.
Overall, it's been a good night for me. Not to mention that Alabama is now ranked #2 in the AP college football poll.
