I saw Cats tonight. It was a nice show, but I really couldn't get into it. That was probably because I was so sleepy during it. I actually fell asleep during the middle of Act 2. I should have came home and slept this morning. Anyway, I did have a good time. We had great seats. On the main floor about middle ways up (row 9). From what I could see all of the seats were full. That's a good sign. So "hey Mobile Civic Center management people (SMG)! If you actually try you can get good shows to come to this town and people will come. Recession or not." My favorite character was Rum Tum Tugger. He made everyone laugh. He was very Mick Jagger-esque. Before the show I bought a program and a t-shirt. I was dissapointed that the program did not give photos of the cast and a list of the songs. At the other musicals I've been to you were either given a program with this info or were able to buy one. All this one had was information about how Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber came up with the musical and some general photos.
I forgot to mention in my earlier post that I registered for ConGaloosh. I'm going to all of the major events, including the Hoopla Party at the club. This event is limited to only 75 people. It will envolve a gourmet dinner and two library shows. It is a little expensive, but it will be well worth it (and besides I'm using my tax refund money). I can't wait to be in the club again.
I'm going to sleep late (or at least try to). Then I need to go to Wal-Mart.
