I've finished Summer I. This includes the two classes I took during Summer I proper and the mini-session class. I got A's in all of them. That makes my GPA look nice, even though they were not challenging classes.
My poor mom. One of the reasons she found it imposable to get her teachers certificate is because her GPA is so low. When she was in college it was all about the bell curve. This earned her C's in pretty much every class she took, regardless of what she earned. It is hard for her to pick her GPA up now because she has so many hours. A degree in forestry requires over ten more hours than most other degrees so it would take a lot of A's to pick her GPA up to what she would need for teacher certification.
I'm reading a really good children's book right now. Its called Eragon, by Christopher Paolini. Its a fantasy book about a boy who finds a dragon egg. Pretty interesting. Its supposed to be a trilogy and the second book comes out at the end of the summer. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm getting ready to take my last pre-methods math class next session. It is supposed to be pretty though, I'm hoping for a B, which is what I have earned in every other math class I have taken in college. I'm also taking a class in children's literature. I get to read a cubic butt-ton of children's books for class credit. I'm looking forward to it.
I got asked to go to a party by a guy last week! I was excited about it, but the party was pretty lame. The guy has over $70,000 in student loans, and he is a undergrad seeking a degree in kineseology...with no teachers certificate! Now I'm not a money-sniffing gold digger, but that much debt is a real turn off. That may make me seem really shallow, but I don't care. Poor is fine, $70,000 in the hole is beyond poor. It means he lives way beyond his means. Not good. I did get asked to another party by another guy. I'm going try to go.
I have to get back to...work?
