Lost 3.02: "Do you remember the taste of strawberries, Mr. Ford?"

Oct 12, 2006 17:54

Well, at least we caught up with three more Losties. Sayid's his old "I have a creepy plan" self. Sun and Jin are their old "complicated relationship" selves. Sun's dad is his old "It's not my place to tell your husband about your infidelity; it's just my place to have the man killed" self. And Sawyer kissed Kate, with apparently enough tongue to taste strawberries.

Judging from the tender look beforehand, and the tender music during, the kiss was motivated by romance and not just a test to see how the Others would react. But of course it was that too. Our Bonnie and Clyde do think about these things. However, either they *don't* think about how the Others are totally listening in on their conversations in their cells, or that conversation was meant as a decoy of some kind. I don't know; it sounded authentic. Criminals usually aren't so smart when you get down to it. I mean, Sawyer is the guy who fell for Ana-Lucia's "sex for guns" program.

Liked the bit with the World Series. Though Jack would have been more in character if he was skeptical even after seeing the clip, and pointing out that anyone really good with digital video could have faked it.

Next week: Locke performs surgery without a license. Sweet!
