ROTK screencaps!

shadowfax8 has been screencapping the hobbity parts of ROTK, along with judiciously-chosen other parts, and is taking requests for more! You are also free to download the existing pictures and make icons and stuff. It is totally droolworthy.

I myself have already made this icon, plus these two, which are up for grabs...

I have a Mac, and I'm partial to Comic Sans, and New York, and Chicago, myself.

Without meaning to seem rude, Comic Sans is the most horrible font EVER.

I can't stand Comic Sans at all. I get twitchy fingers every time I see it.

This may be related to the fact that an awful lot of teachers insist on using it for tests, exams etc. It's just so horribly inappropriate, it makes me want to scream. For fuck's sake, it's called Comic Sans. Sure we're feeling very comically during tests...

Ahh! It is SO TRUE. It seems to be the universal 'look at me, I'm so quirky!' font. And it should DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH.

I still shudder when I recall how my 8th grade teacher would rant for hours upon end about the many virtues of comic sans...
IT'S AN EFFING FONT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! And an extremely hideous one at that.

Hurrah, there are other people in the world who hate Comic Sans as much as I do! I wonder if there are any LJ communities for hating Comic Sans... I did manage to find a Comic Sans hatelisting. And an essay about hating Comic Sans. And a font called "I hate Comic Sans".

In fact, there's even a BAN COMIC SANS website.

That's one evil font.

Maybe they come cheaper in batches? We can sell them in fonts_from_hell afterwards. Or just put them all over the place.

Didn't find any community, so I opened one myself. fonts_from_hell is about any absolutely hideous font, but I do think that Comic Sans will be an all-time #1 most hated font.

(And heh, I have that font called "I hate Comic Sans". Downloaded it just because of the name. Too bad it looks very much like Comic Sans...)
