Nostalgia?
I just read through every entry in this livejournal, which started waaaay back in 2005-- how strange! But very cool to be able to look back over the last two and a half years of my life and to see God's hand throughout.
The conclusion is about the same now as it always has been: God is good, and I am full of failings, but His grace is sufficient. For the time being, I'm back in InterVarsity, training for worship leading, stepping back from the theatre world at least a little bit, but still taking plenty of theatre classes. I'll be working at Jonah this summer, and I am really excited to be back home, not spending $6000 on a trip to Africa, but still serving God in a very real way.
God is good. That's what it all comes down to. And in my life He has blessed me with wonderful friends everywhere I've gone. Seasons change and people move on, but it was an amazing reminder to read all of my old lj posts and the comments that went with them, and to see the kind and faithful support of so many friends through some of the hardest times in my life so far.
I don't know if any of you still read this, but thanks for being there.
