Productivity. On a Weekend. And that's Terrible.

We played two hours of Ultimate today. Despite the fact that it's Saturday and we met at 10am, we had about 20 people from different teams show up. The weather was delightfully brisk and there was just enough of a wind to be annoying.

I also managed to get hit on the bridge of my nose with a frisbee. During warmup. And, the thing was, I had my hand out, watched it come to me, and watched it subsequently graze over the tops of my fingers and sail into my nose. The worse thing about getting hit in the nose is the reflexive eye-watering and nose-running that occurs. So embarrassing.

But, I really had it coming. The guy who I hit in the face wasn't there though. I'm counting this as a win.

So, after this, I had to jet over to anatomy tutoring at 1. Then, from there, I went immediately to the park to rollerblade 10 miles.

Then, miracle or miracles, I spent about 5 hours doing my histology portfolio. And I'm still not even halfway done. But, for some reason, all of the imminent deadlines that are fast approaching are not causing me the slightest bit of stress. I'm so apathetic.

I recently put the 40th anniversary Aqualung release on my iPod. However, because I'm apparently even incompetent at doing that, I had managed to not add the last few songs of the second CD. So, when I heard them accidently on iTunes...I'm kicking myself. "Dr Bogenbroom" is fantastic. Ian Anderson owns my soul.

Speaking of music, I downloaded a few songs from Sherlock, including "The Reichenbach Fall". Ugh. Bad choice. That song is the epitome of heartbreak. The drama and suspense is well done, but there is also this element of inevitable sadness, that, no, we're not going to get a surprise happy ending, someone really is going to die (the English language needs a pithy word for this emotion). I can't listen to it.

But! Good news! Maybe. Moffat mentioned in an article in "The Guardian" that hopefully the next season will air by the end of this year!!!

I'm way too invested in this. Someone needs to hold an intervention on my behalf. I blame the industry: if there were more scripts/plots/characterizations as brilliantly done, I wouldn't have to latch onto Sherlock.
