OMG. Work was EPIC. My two favorite people to work with were there today. I couldn't believe it, especially since I'd assumed that one of them had quit. But seriously, the level of conversations that we have? Outrageous. And they're such interesting, intelligent people who completely understand my sense of humor. I was giddily happy the entire shift. I haven't felt this good in a long time. The funny thing is that, looking at next week's schedule, I'm not working with either of them. The manager probably realizes that we have too much fun when we work together. But ah well.

It's actually kinda funny because, while doing paperwork today, I read over my place of work's policy on blogging and related issues and I'm not supposed to talk about work online. I'm also not supposed to wear a choker necklace, I'm supposed to tuck in my shirt, my shoes must be black or brown leather, my belt must match my shoe color (I only have one belt, and it's black), and I must wear socks that match my pant color. And do I do any of this? No. Considering that book floor people can now wear jeans and I have to wear only solid colored white or black collared shirts with khaki or black pants, I'm taking what I can get.

I've actually had an eventful week. I went to the Rangers game on Wednesday (and what a game!), watched Invictus on Tuesday at a friend's house. I left there at about 1:00 am-ish. After I left, her car got broken into and her sister's car was actually stolen. They found it at about noonish at an apartment complex near my house and I went with her to pick up her sister's car (thus saving them a $400 impound fee). Hopefully tomorrow we can actually go rockclimbing. I hope the place isn't inexplicably closed this time around...

So yeah. This must be what's it's like to have a life. I'm almost positive that Texas people are the most interesting people on the face of this planet.

I've also gotten back into comics. Thank goodness Dark Reign is over. And Steve Rogers is ALIVE! WOOT! I'm kinda worried about the Captain America status though, especially with respect to the Avengers. I like the line-up, but if Steve Rogers isn't heavily involved, it won't be the same. Also, the Maria Hill as a leader is kinda worrisome as well. Otherwise, I like the lineup. I think I missed some vital happenings during my comic hiatus, but I'm just going to go with the flow. Oh, in somewhat unrelated news, Deadpool continues to rock. I mean, this character is so amazing that even Mr. Way can't completely ruin him.

Reload Blast got off to a slow start, but it seems to be picking up speed. And the art has greatly improved, at least for chapter 5. I wish it came out more than once a month, though. One Piece is in the middle of one of Oda's signature flash-backs. It's kinda painful to read since we know that Ace dies.

Life is kinda rocking at the moment.
