blabbity blab blab blab

Teri ordered me to make a post, and, as we all know, I am not one to disobey my master. Hmm. What shall I babble about instead of doing homework. For the record, I am still wearing my nightgown-and I think I am going to go change right now.
Back. I have not written in here for quite some time. Mom bought me a full-length mirror for my bedroom today, which I played in front of for a disgraceful hour. (Marie joined in the fun). Also, last night, after Teri and Cara had departed from a very pleasant evening, Liz and I were dancing to a flamenco program on KCET, and I was so vigorous that I twisted my ankle and bumped my head REALLY HARD on the pokey wooden part of the chaise. I now a have a large and tender lump, and can’t for the life me seem to focus on my homework (very odd). I feel like my priorities have been re-shifting, and now I have a much healthier balance in my life. I haven’t been sad and depressed about idiotic things. maybe school is partly to thank. Being alone in my room for hours on end, thinking, is not really conducive to good mental health. Babble babble. I read Steinbeck’s Tortilla Flat, which I adored, and have started on Cannery Row, which I misplaced. I formulated a few goals today:
1) Run the dog with sister every evening, some mornings do Tai Chi with Daddy.
2) Read a book a week.
3) Play around with my vocabulary book from last year.
I spend too much time reading dumb things or New Yorker stuff when I should be getting some novels under my belt. Hmm. Maybe I’ll write about this past week. Go ahead and stop reading right now if you don’t want a play by play; I’m really doing this so later I can remember. I got two hours of sleep Sunday night since I didn’t touch my homework until much, much too late. I don’t think I said even one remotely interesting thing that day. Sufficient amounts of sleep improve my quality of life to a ridiculous degree. After school Liz and I went to Starbies and then my house. I climbed into bed and when she left slept for several hours. Um, the next days are a blur. Friday was enjoyable. After school Liz and I stayed a while and talked to Kelsi and Gen, two people who I haven’t really talked to much at all this year. Also lounged about in the grotto, which is always enjoyable. Then we went to my house, goofed around, pretending that we had brains to large for our necks to support and sipping our tea loudly in the middle of sentences, index fingers raised. Hee. The Chrises came, and then One Graham Towers called, telling us that miniature golfing was off and that "Lost in Translation" was on. In 20 minutes. In Orange. We burned rubber and miraculously made it there on time, to find that there were no parking spots. What is with the Block? Liz sent Teri and myself ahead in desperation, and so we ran like mad, Teri in top form and me panting behind, things flying out of Liz’s purse, which I was carrying. Finally we all got into the movie, which was interesting and which I would like to see again. Went to Rubios and then to Krispy Kreme (I did not indulge). Oooo. And I got to see MEG and ELIOT. Very fun time. Also, Graham is a doll. Sad that Cara couldn’t go, but the next day she came over and we laid about all day. Liz and Teri came that evening. It was so fun and relaxing. I lurv you guys. I want to rearrange my bedroom furniture, but I am not sure how. Lord, this entry in long enough. Whoa now.
