dreams seem so far away, and other times just right around the corner...
went to the band/chorus concert last night. saw a lot of friendly faces.
went to mhs with jamie. visited the best teachers. [dg, pitafilosa, mr. mccallum, nannestad, canali (yes, i know she's not an actual teacher...she almost cried when she saw me. she kept saying "it's so wonderful to see you. you look great."), and brann] i was impressed that dg remembered me. the man never even had me and still he and i knew each other. jamie and i even managed to convince a really cute senior guy to go to chorus with us. ;) [i've missed you. a lot.]
then jamie and i went to target and back to my house to dye our hair. yeah, so much for me going back to blonde...it's really red this time friends. like strawberry blonde red. it's cute though, as usual. just definitely kinda new. next time i know which shade of blonde to pick. jamie's is darker brown and pretty. and SO curly when it's wet. and we ate pizza with the family. man we are totally retarded, but i think that's our endearing quality. how many times do you hear a conversation like this:
- braden: "well, my teacher told me that if you marry an american citizen you have to become an american citizen."
- dad: "not at all. you can, but you don't have to. what am i?"
- braden: "british."
- dad: "and did i marry an american?!"
- braden: "yes."
- dad: "no, i married a weirdo!! hahaha." [cue intense laughter from me and jamie in the kitchen.]
- mikaela: "mom married a husband." (that only made us laugh harder.)
i love my family.
and tonight i watched a movie with my sister--due to the fact that friends of mine still have school tomorrow, so we couldn't hang out.
well, night kiddos. i'm off to watch another movie.
