I have the greatest supervisor IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. I rushed in sheepishly at 3:30 PM, having not called (I couldn't get through the one time I was near a phone I could long distance call on) and he was so great about it. I just told him it was "one of those days," and I was really sorry, and he asked if I was okay and I said yeah and then he offered to lie to HIS supervisor who was wondering why I wasn't at the meeting to cover for me . . . and run-on sentences much?
