I am back...
I've been tied up in my own little cocoon of doctor's appointments and kids' birthdays for the past few weeks. I don't have an update on spinal stuff other than to say I see a neurosurgeon on Dec. 7th.
I am here to say, "All hail to whomever invented the CPAP (Continuous Positive Air Pressure) Machine." Breathing all night long, which means sleeping all night long, is so not under-rated!
Kids are now 6 and 9. Got them both puppies (Mikey and Tippy) for their birthdays along with a party. Just call me crazy, but I couldn't resist the rescue puppies from Hospice (they are both 3/4 Husky and 1/4 German Shepard). Older dogs are somewhat suspicious, but they will figure out we aren't evicting them. Pictures soon.
Finally, this is cross-posted at be_bold:
The election irregularities that are now being reported everywhere merit our attention, so I just wrote my Senators and will email as many as I can.
This is the the text of my email:
Dear Senator Hutchison:
Please support a congressional investigation into the current alleged voting irregularities in the 2004 presidential election.
I know you agree with me when I say that we are the world's leader, and we must show that we are interested in our own election system.

Maybe this will do nothing but make me feel better, but if our representatives are inundated with snail mail, email, phone calls, and faxes, they may just pay attention...
