So summer is in full swing. It's so friggin hot outside! But it's great weather for tubing. When eric is off from work in time we pretty much always try to tube for at least an hour or so. We have so much fun flying into eachother and flipping off into the water. I have a semi-permanent rub burn on my thigh now though...oh well. It's a small price to pay for the fun of it. About a week or so ago eric fell off and then got a bloody nose...i can't remember if i put that in here already. If i did, sorry for being boring haha.
So i'm still on Weight Watchers. It's been close to a month now and i have yet to cheat :-). This is like the most proud of myself i've been in some time. I had just finally gotten to the point where it wasn't about looking good or trying to measure up to an Angelina Jolie or model or anything. I just wanted to be in the right weight zone for my height and be more in shape. I'm definitely seeing a difference. I've been told that my legs look more toned in the back from Curves, which is good. My arms are getting more toned from tubing and i'm able to hold on a lot better over the extreme waves and the like. I can also actually get myself onto the tube in the water just using my arm strength. That doesn't sound like much of an acheivement, but it is, trust me. So far i've lost 8 pounds, which i'm happy about. I'm still going to go to get some more bloodwork done cause i still feel overly tired even after a good amount of rest. And lately my shoulder and hips joints have been really hurting me. So we'll see if i still have out of whack test results when i go to the doctor in august.
Sorry about the long and boring update about weight stuff. If you didn't like it...i dunno...go take a bubble bath, you deserve it.
We went to see Land of the Dead for the second time...this time with Mark and Jen a while ago. It was still good. We also saw War of the Worlds which we really liked except for the fact that there was a family that came in late and sat directly behind us and decided to put their stupidity on display in the form of asking inane questions about the movie throughout the entire thing. Bitches. We also saw Fantastic 4 which was very enjoyable. I heart Julian McMahon...i'm pry wrong on the spelling, but whatever. He's so awesome. God, i can't wait for Nip/Tuck to start again! The second season comes out on DVD on August 30th!!! HOORAY! So yeah, we also watched Hide and Seek with my parents a couple of nights ago. That was an awesome movie. Then we went home and watched the Wizard of Oz...that's right. Such a classic. Now i just have to watch Boogieman and we'll be done with the new movies my parents have that i wanna see.
So i've been working at Premier PT and i startedf shadowing Mitch which makes the time go by a lot faster. No, i'm not getting paid, which sux, but in a way i am getting paid cause i'm getting valuable experience in both the business and PT side of clinicals and i'm getting some of my 80 volunteer hours over and done with. I just gotta get them to write a letter confirming my hours spent there, which i'm sure will be no problem.
Ok, i've wasted a sufficient amount of time updating. I'm done now. bye byes.
