Valentine's Day!!
So far i am having a fantastic day. Now, normally i wouldn't say anything about how nice a day i'm having becuase i know there are a lot of people in the world who don't like this holiday. But this time i really feel like i want to let out how happy i am. i'm just having a great day...even if it wasn't V-day.
First last night at midnight eric and i exchanged our first gifts. He ordered me a heart shaped marble cheesecake which is the MOST GODLY THING I HAVE EVER TASTED. It's like the cheesecake from friends i swear to god.
Then this morning a phone call woke us up but i wanted to get up and do my hair anyway, so it actually worked out well. Eric brought me a single rose in bed :-) and i was just so happy. Then before i left for school he gave me a card that said that he had made reservations at Casa de Pasta for tonite!!! yay! so i'm gonna get all nice and prettified and wear my new pink dress and black cardigan with a sparkly pink purse pin!! yay!
Anyways, classes went relatively fast which made me extremely happy. AND my english class was cancelled!! woohoo! such a good day. So walking out to my car i checked my voicemail on my cell and someone named David had left me a singing telegram saying happy Valentines day...it was eric. such a sneaky bugger! haha...yes i did just use the word bugger.
So i got home and eric still had class so i made him a good old fashioned valentine's card. I cut it out in the shape of a heart, and cut out a little heart to tape on the back so that it gave it a layered effect. I put a ribbon bow on the front and colored it pink and red...it's gorgeous :-) So we've been exchanging presents all day and so far i've gotten the heavenly cheesecake, the rose, the card, and a stuffed elephant that looks just like a "heffalump" which every time i see on tv i start squealing with joy cause i think it's so adorable!!! the stuffed animal is just so incredibly soft.
Ok then, for those of you that read that, i'm sorry if i offended anyone or they thought that i was "bragging" in anyway. But i'm just very excited and in a great mood and i felt it was alright for me to put that on my journal. So if anyone is angry, i'm very sorry and that was not my intention...and i hope that you have a great day no matter what!! :-)
